Moore Maker
This is a Moore Maker pocketknife out of Matador, TX. They produce knives of various types, but many are for ranch work. Well known in Texas, they are high quality knives meant to last.
A wonderful customer of mine has carried this pocketknife for over 20 years, and it’s served him well. I offered to restore it for him because after such long service, it needed a spa day!
Beyond metal polishing, and I also did extensive cleaning and light resurfacing of the bone scales, and then fine polishing and sealing. The results were stunning, and he’soverjoyed (and so am I)! In fact, he’s now afraid to use it because it looks so good. I told him not to worry and use it as he always has, that’s what it’s for. I can always do it again when it’s time!
